Job Description: 

Position Summary

 

The Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials to support our manufacturing operations. This role includes fulfilling material requests from production staff, managing inventory through cycle counts, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Daily tasks may involve breaking down material packaging, supporting document digitization efforts, and ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in a cGMP manufacturing facility. Additionally, the Material Handler will assist with warehouse organization and maintenance, contributing to the overall success of our production team.

Essential Functions (ES) and Responsibilities

 

  • Material Supply: Ensure production runs smoothly by supplying materials to manufacturing as needed, fulfilling process orders, reservations, and requests from production staff.

  • Packaging Breakdown: Breakdown and discard material packaging to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels.

  • Warehouse Support: Assist warehouse staff with daily operations and other assigned tasks.

  • Document Organization: Support the digitization and organization of physical documents in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Team Player: Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of material handling and documentation.

  • Time Management: Effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience Requirements

 

  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

 

  • Experience Requirements:

    • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Prior experience in warehouse or inventory management is a plus.

Compliance Requirements (ES)

 

The minimum compliance expectation for this role entails strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing sales and marketing activities. This includes completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of sales interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Additionally, the role requires proactive participation in compliance reviews, prompt reporting of any potential issues, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant FDA regulations.
