Position Summary:
The Integration Analyst designs, develops, and supports enterprise data integration solutions, ETL processes, APIs, and business applications to enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across enterprise systems. This role collaborates with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality data integration solutions that support operational reporting, analytics, and business processes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ezeScreens applications, workflows, and user interfaces supporting business operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, connectors, and integration services to enable secure data exchange across cloud, database, file-based, and enterprise applications.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data lakes to automate data integration.
- Implement data quality validation, monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization to ensure reliable and secure ETL processes, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Apply data science methodologies and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support data-driven decision-making.
- Implement data governance, security, compliance, and data lineage best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, APIs, application workflows, and system integrations.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and integration patterns that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand and interpret functional requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions. Lead integration initiatives and coordinate deployments to ensure timely delivery and operational stability.
- Lead and coordinate data-related projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Pentaho Data Integration (PDI).
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience developing ezeScreens applications, including screen design, front end HTML development, workflow configuration, and business rules.
- Experience developing REST APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Lucene.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and cloud integration services.
- Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP, LIMS, PIMS, NexLynk, or similar enterprise systems.
- Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
- Familiar with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience Requirements: Proven experience developing ETL solutions using Pentaho or equivalent ETL platforms. Strong SQL and relational database development experience. Programming skills in languages like Python, R, Java or Lucene. Hands-on experience with data lake technologies, including Elasticsearch. Experience developing ezeScreens applications, workflows, and business process automation. Experience designing and developing REST APIs and enterprise system integrations. Experience integrating cloud, database, file-based, and enterprise applications. Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance principles. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or regulated environments and experience with cloud-based integration platforms and DevOps practices preferred.
Compliance Requirements:
The minimum compliance expectation for this role entails strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing sales and marketing activities. This includes completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of sales interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Additionally, the role requires proactive participation in compliance reviews, prompt reporting of any potential issues, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant FDA regulations.
